We welcome Rev. George Donigian as our pastor.  Prior to arriving at our church, Rev. George served in publishing ministry in Nashville where he developed and edited children's religious curriculum, including Sunday school and vacation Bible school.  He also worked with The Upper Room and became director of trade book marketing.  He was the publisher, editor and creative director of Discipleship Resources.  He is also an author of books, articles, short stories and poetry. 


On a personal note - -
Rev. Donigian holds a B.S. in English and Elementary education from Berry College in Rome, Georgia, and a Master of Divinity from Candler School of Theology, Emory University.
  He is married to Rev. Mary Teasley who is the new pastor at Trinity UMC here in Anderson. 
They are the parents of 6 adult children and grandparents of 4!

George  is of Armenian descent, and grew up in Hopewell, Virginia; He served at several UMC churches in Virginia.  He worked in the publishing area of ministry.   George also plays saxophone, piano, ocarina, the Armenian duduk, and the  dumbeg (Armenian hand drum). - Sometimes in church!


Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for by doing that some have entertained angels without knowing it.
